Ibraq Arabian Tobacco, Saudi extrait de parfum available at MYF

Ibraq — the house of Ibraheem Al Qurashi, founded in Jeddah in 1929 — joins the MYF catalogue with ten references. It's the Saudi house almost everyone has smelled without knowing the name: its musks have been scenting Gulf wardrobes for decades, and the Diamond Collection has become one of the reference points of modern Arabian perfumery.

The detail that matters for Morocco: the 10ml decant is 70 MAD across the whole range, and full bottles start at 400 MAD. That is the lowest entry price in our catalogue for authentic perfume.

Three families, three uses

The range splits into three blocks, and it pays to know which one you're after before ordering.

The musks: clean, quiet, everyday

These are the softest things the house makes. None is loud, all last moderately, and all layer beautifully under a stronger fragrance — which is arguably their best use.

  • Abaq Pomegranate Musk — bergamot, blackcurrant and apple on top, cedar, patchouli and caramel in the heart, musk, amber and pomegranate in the base. The fruitiest of the three, unisex, ideal at the office.
  • Special Musk — musk and amber from the first second, with a birch note keeping it crisp. Suede and lily in the heart, tonka bean and rose in the base. The "just out of the shower" musk, in the best sense.
  • Powder Musk — rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang over a powdery base of orris, vanilla and tonka bean. Cottony, clean, genderless.

Layering genuinely works here

Spray an Ibraq musk on skin, then your usual fragrance on top. The musk extends longevity and rounds off the edges of anything too dry. At 70 MAD a decant, it's the cheapest experiment you can run.

The tobaccos: three extraits de parfum at 520 MAD

This is where Ibraq gets serious. Three extraits de parfum — the highest concentration — on one theme, treated three opposite ways.

Arabian Tobacco is the most powerful Ibraq in the catalogue. Tobacco, saffron and iris on the opening, salted caramel and tonka bean in the heart, coffee, smoke, patchouli and amber in the base. Evening sillage, extrait longevity, and performance you rarely find under 1,000 MAD. Made for dinners, weddings, winter.

Spanish Tobacco goes the other way: an aquatic opening with saffron and tonka bean, then a heart of cocoa, amber and tobacco. This is the office-wearable tobacco — dark but fresh, never smothering.

Mexican Tobacco opens on dark chocolate and cedar, moves through lilac and cinnamon, and settles on tobacco, amber and rose. The most gourmand of the three, with a cocoa bitterness that stops it turning sweet.

Which of the three?

Maximum power and night-time sillage: Arabian. Office and daytime: Spanish. Cocoa-cinnamon gourmand for winter: Mexican. If you can't decide, all three 10ml decants come to 210 MAD — less than a single bottle.

The Diamond Collection: eaux de parfum at 550 MAD

The house's signature line, in bottles cut like gemstones. Four references are available individually at MYF.

  • Purple Heart Diamond (2025) — orange blossom, pear and vanilla on top, pink pepper, jasmine and almond in the heart, cashmere wood, cedar and patchouli in the base. Gourmand floral, unmistakably feminine, strong performance.
  • Nude Coral Diamond (2024) — saffron, apple and bergamot over a heart of orange blossom, coconut and guaiac wood, with vanilla, amber and cashmeran underneath. Creamy, solar, built for summer evenings.
  • Pink Diamond Sakura (2023) — peony, orange blossom and mandarin, then rose, lily and cherry blossom, on sandalwood and white musk. The most feminine and the quietest of the collection.
  • Emerald Soul Diamond (2024) — bergamot, mandarin and white musk, fresh spices and lemon in the heart, vanilla and amber in the base. The most unisex: fresh by day, warm at night.

What Ibraq brings to the Moroccan market

Three things, concretely:

  1. A real entry price. 70 MAD for a 10ml decant, 400 MAD for a musk bottle. You can explore an entire house for what a single French niche decant costs.
  2. Affordable extrait de parfum. The tobaccos are extraits at 520 MAD, where the same concentration usually sells in four figures.
  3. Profiles Western perfumery doesn't offer. Solid musk, aquatic tobacco, pomegranate: these are Gulf codes, not Grasse ones.

What about the solid musk cubes?

Ibraq also makes solid musk cubes — a scented object, not a perfume: drop one in a drawer or a car and it scents your linen for weeks. Three scents, 70 MAD per cube. Full explanation in our solid musk cube guide, and the selection is here.

Gift sets

The house also issues three sealed Diamond Collection sets, including a Discovery box holding all ten fragrances of the collection in 10ml. We compare them in our Ibraq gift set guide.

Where to start

Our advice

Take three 10ml decants — one musk, one tobacco, one Diamond — for 210 MAD total. Wear each for a week. The winner's full bottle will cost you between 400 and 550 MAD: you'll have explored a whole house for less than one designer fragrance.

Every Ibraq fragrance is 100% authentic, shipped from within Morocco, cash on delivery available. Browse the full range or let our matchmaking tool decide for you.
