Jean Paul Gaultier keeps extending its two flagship lines, and 2026 brings a new couple: Le Beau Narcisse on the men's side, La Belle Rosea on the women's. Same price, 1,400 MAD per bottle and 140 MAD for the 10ml decant. We wore each one for a full week.
Le Beau Narcisse: coconut, but warm
Le Beau Narcisse
Bergamot, creamy coconut, orange blossom, vanilla and tonka bean — the most enveloping Le Beau.
The opening is instantly recognisable as a Le Beau: sparkling bergamot and creamy coconut, the solar signature the line has carried since 2019. The difference shows in the heart — musk and orange blossom, softer, more sensual — and then in the base, where vanilla, tonka bean and vetiver build a woody depth neither the original Le Beau nor Paradise Garden really has.

If Paradise Garden felt too light and Le Beau Parfum too dry, Narcisse is the compromise: same coconut identity, with the vanilla density that was missing. It's also the most evening-leaning of the three.
La Belle Rosea: a peony that doesn't smell like soap
La Belle Rosea
Aquatic notes, bergamot, peony, rose, violet, then vanilla, musk and cedarwood. 1,400 MAD.
Aquatic florals often collapse into generic "clean". Rosea avoids the trap thanks to its violet: it brings a powdery, almost retro facet that breaks up the pure freshness of the aquatic top notes. The vanilla-musk-cedar base warms everything back up by the end of the day.
