New fragrances September 2026: the 8 back-to-school arrivals at MYF

September was busy. Eight references joined the catalogue, including three new houses: Maison Margiela, Rosendo Mateu and Alezz Oud. The rest runs from a Lancôme classic to the 150ml size of a Chanel, plus two Arabian fragrances under 700 MAD.

Three new houses

Rosendo Mateu Nº 5 Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk has nothing to do with a certain Parisian N°5. It comes from a house the perfumer Rosendo Mateu founded in Barcelona in 2017. The spices and exotic flowers fade quickly into a heart of carnation and lily-of-the-valley, then the amber, vanilla and musk base settles in for a long time. It's unisex, warm and made for evenings. It costs 1,800 MAD for the bottle or 180 MAD for a decant.

Replica Jazz Club is the first Maison Margiela at MYF. The pink pepper and lemon pass quickly. Rum, clary sage and vetiver follow, then a base of tobacco, styrax and vanilla that lasts all evening. It's an eau de toilette that lasts like something stronger. 1,450 MAD for the bottle, 150 MAD for a decant.

Hersh Lahab comes from Alezz Oud, a young Saudi house. Lahab means "flame" in Arabic, but the scent is fresher than its name. Black pepper and basil open onto a heart of Timur pepper and grapefruit, and the patchouli base stays quiet. It's unisex and works anywhere from the office to dinner, for 650 MAD or 90 MAD per decant.

The safe bets we were missing

• La Vie Est Belle (1,450 MAD): Lancôme's gourmand iris, with blackcurrant, pear, praline and vanilla. It's one of the fragrances you asked us for most often.
• Montblanc Signature (1,100 MAD): clementine, magnolia and peony on a base of white musk and benzoin. It's soft, clean and easy to wear at the office.

Two low prices from the Gulf

Blue Diamond Aqua adds to Ibraq's Diamond line. It's a salty aquatic lifted with saffron, with a heart of citrus and rosemary, and it dries down to clean incense. Khisla Pink is a hair mist, not a perfume for skin. It comes from Atyab Al Marshoud, a Kuwaiti house founded in 1925. The raspberry and jasmine give way to a base of patchouli and oud, and the scent stays in your hair all day. 900 MAD per bottle.
